Lost main function

I was a user of Easy Timeline until today when I upgraded to Yosemite and Easy Timeline stopped working.
I tried to “upgrade” to Timeline 3D and found it doesn’t let you..
- edit in 2D (normal) timeline mode
- show stop and start dates

I’m sad I’ll have to hunt (again) for a basic timeline creating software. It will not be this one. :(
